In 2008, Francis Joyon on IDEC SPORT was the first person to sail solo on a trimaran, non-stop, around the world in just 57 days - a staggering 21 days faster than the fastest monohull. The current trimaran record to circumnavigate the world is 40 days.
Hello sailors, this is one of the most fast and exiting cruising trimarans that is produced. I want to add a thing: firstly it is safer than all the other cruising trimarans because it has a lot of watertight compartments, like on an Amel. Secondly it has a lot of storage space, in the balance hulls, in the giant bow locker and under the cockpit. It has also a lot of space in the cabins. One thing that I don’t Ike is that the living room and the bow cabin are not connected to the stern cabin, that is also the master suite: imagine that you are in the middle of the ocean and there is a storm and you have to exit to go from your cabin to the living room, yes the cockpit can be all closed but it is not as walking inside; but this has also an advantage: under the cockpit there is a large storage space that works also as a survival roomHello sailors, this is one of the most fast and exiting cruising trimarans that is produced. Great trimaran, but the price tag of 1.5M USD is just killing the dream, or will have to wait 10 years until can by a second hand one at a half price.
I loved watching this video of the trimaran, so awesome! Being on one of these would be a dream :)
